Atelier Rattan offers home décor, furniture, and other products made from materials including rattan, wicker, bamboo, wood, and other natural materials.

Our products may be handcrafted or made using natural materials. As a result, individual products may have slight variations in color, texture, shape, weaving, grain, and finish.

These variations are inherent characteristics of natural materials and craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

4. Product Dimensions and Measurements

Customers are responsible for reviewing product dimensions and specifications before placing an order.

Please carefully measure your intended space, including doorways, hallways, elevators, stairways, and other access points where applicable.

Atelier Rattan is not responsible for a product being unsuitable for a customer’s space because the customer did not verify measurements or access requirements before ordering.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected in your order.

After receiving your order, we may send an order confirmation email. An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

  • Product availability
  • Pricing or product information errors
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Shipping restrictions
  • Technical errors
  • Other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

The price charged for an order is the price displayed at the time the order is placed, except where a pricing or technical error has occurred.

The customer is responsible for any applicable charges that are not collected by Atelier Rattan at checkout.

Payments are processed through Shopify Payments and applicable payment-processing partners.

By placing an order, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method provided for the total amount of your order, including applicable taxes and shipping charges.

We may cancel or suspend an order if payment cannot be successfully authorized or completed.

8. Made-to-Order and Custom Products

Certain products may be made-to-order or customized.

Because these products may require production specifically for the customer, production times may vary.

Estimated production or processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Made-to-order and custom products are final sale and are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund, or exchange once production has begun, except where required by applicable law or in the event of a confirmed defect or error on our part.

9. Shipping and Delivery

We ship orders to locations available during checkout.

Shipping times displayed on our website are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs procedures, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delays caused by the carrier are outside our direct control.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.

Additional charges may apply if an order must be reshipped because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided.

For large or oversized products, special delivery requirements may apply.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible and suitable for receiving the ordered product.

10. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and provide photographs of:

  • The product
  • The shipping packaging
  • Any visible damage
  • The shipping label

Please retain the original packaging until the claim has been reviewed.

Failure to immediately inspect an item does not automatically waive any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

11. Final Sale — No Returns or Exchanges

All sales are final.

Atelier Rattan does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges due to:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference
  • Incorrect measurements
  • A product not fitting the customer’s space
  • A change in décor or design preferences
  • Color preferences
  • Natural variations in materials
  • Other reasons unrelated to a confirmed defect, damage during transit, or an error on our part

Please review product dimensions, specifications, photographs, and product information carefully before placing an order.

Our Returns & Refunds Policy provides additional information regarding damaged or defective products.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

12. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If you receive an item that is damaged during transit, defective, or materially different from the product you ordered, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

We may request photographs, videos, measurements, or other information necessary to evaluate the issue.

If the issue is confirmed to be attributable to Atelier Rattan or to damage occurring during transit, we may, at our discretion and as appropriate:

  • Replace the product
  • Repair the product
  • Provide a partial refund
  • Provide a full refund
  • Provide another appropriate remedy

The remedy provided will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

13. Natural Materials and Craftsmanship

Our products may contain natural materials such as rattan, wicker, bamboo, and wood.

Natural materials can vary naturally in:

  • Texture
  • Grain
  • Pattern
  • Shape
  • Density
  • Weaving
  • Finish

Handcrafted products may also contain minor variations that distinguish one piece from another.

These characteristics are part of the nature and beauty of natural materials and handmade craftsmanship and do not constitute defects.

14. Order Cancellations

Once an order has entered processing, fulfillment, or production, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If an order has already been shipped or production has begun, cancellation may not be available.
